From the 4 - 6th March 10 top international supported art studios attended a 3 day workshop at Project Ability, 103 Trongate Glasgow. Over the 3 days studios from Australia, North America and Europe, each represented by 2 artists, came together to share their practice, learn from each other and celebrate their creativity.
Germany's Atelier 5, gnome installation is exhibited at the Project Ability Gallery, first floor. The exhibition also has an amazing display of Roland Kappel's metal scupltures and books filled with images and road signs reflecting his fascination with the construction industry.
Lesley from Manchester's Venture Arts embroidered these fabulous funky disco dancers inspired by his love of 70s music. Unfortunately the photos dont show the detail of the equisitly embroidered afros and the purple and orange flares.
Dean from Celf, Wales worked into his etching with watercolour and inks. He has some fascinating paper collages and artwork made from found books in the first floor gallery.
Carol from Arts Project Australia first foray into print making!
